Podcasts from AADES 2008

We asked conference participants a number of questions to harness some of the collective ideas present here at the AADES 2008 Leadership conference.

  1. What session have you just attended and what are your thoughts on it?
  2. Where are you from and what stories can you tell us about innovation in your schools?
  3. What are the key skills students need to be successful as distance students?
  4. What are the skill areas you think are needed to be a good distance educator?
  5. Have you discovered anything here that you might be able to apply back home?

Here's what people had to say ...

I have really enjoyed the AADES TROPPO conference - because I was able to see how everyone else in the distance mode is trying to engage the isolated learner. It was interesting listening to Bill talk about innovation and for me to see how every state/territory is endeavouring to engage our isolated learner through some form of innovation in their choosen delivery model. I have already been thinking about the next step for me and my department due to what I have seen here in the last 2 days. (sorry - Looking forward to hearing the podcasts on my return to work Monday - IT limitation right now)
